    Default Broke Leg

Hey fellow Cigar smokers looks like I'm gonna be layed up 8-16 weeks due to a broken Tibia in my left leg. This wouldn't be a real problem except I'm a paraplegic so this means I'm gonna spend most of this time in bed. I can only sit up a few hours a day so what I'm looking for is recommendation's on Movies and books any recommendation's would be appreciated.

Buffalo Soldiers - stars Joaquin Phoenix
Snatch - Brad Pitt and the dude from the Transporter
as for books, anything by Tom Clancy is a good read.

Yeah - Snatch is a cool movie. And if you like that, get Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels. Also, the Mariachi Trilogy from Robert Rodriguez are great movies.

I've been reading Tom Robbins novels. They're fucking great. Get well Soon.

Sorry to hear that buddy, rest up!!

Movies to watch? Depends on what you like, but some of my all time favorites are Meatballs, Adventures in Babysitting, A Christmas Story, Cars, The Ring, The Sting, The Fifth Element, Aliens, Open Range, Unforgiven - I could go on and on but those are the first ones to come to mind.

Last time I was laid up I blasted through a whole load of Monty Python, really took my mind off being sick.
Some of my all time favorite movies are Fight Club, Snatch, 40 YO Virgin, Anchorman, ah hell, too many to name.

If you like westerns, I just read the first three in the "berrybenders" series by Larry McMurtry (the lonesome dove guy)

Hope your on the mend and feeling better soon.

Sorry to hear about your leg.

When I am bored I like to watch the Godfather. Always a good take. All three are great to watch.

I also like the Rocky Movies.

    Hope you get better soon.

Hope you're out of bed soon.

    The Shawshank Redemption
The Bourne Identity (also a good book)
    Orange County (comedy)
    The Wedding Crashers (comedy)

If you're going to be in bed for 16 weeks, try The Story of Civilization by Will Durant. That will keep you busy.
