I feel the same way and what I did was get a pre paid visa from walmart and used that. you can keep your card information safe, and use the card on ANY purchase.

You feel the same way about what? The OP from 5 years ago?

Look, you might want to read through whole threads, use proper punctuation and capitals, and read more / post less. Just sayin'

forgive me for posting on a thread that seemed to be brought back. and forgive me for trying to post things on a site, that seemed to welcome people, and trying to offer my help to things. I might not be able to help with much, being new and all, but I certainly have the write to try.

I realize that this thread is five years old, and you know what. I don't see you jumping anyone's shit but mine for any of these things, when in fact you quoted one other new person that posted in here as well. did you jump his shit for posting on a five year old thread... I think not. His Grammar was just as bad as mine, and yet you chose to single me out?

ya know man I'm sorry if I pissed in your humidor or something, but deliberately singling me out is wrong man. even if I posted on a old thread, to which you've posted on several times. did you not realize that the thread was this old until you read my post?

And I'm sorry me being a new member is something that irritates you, but that's nothing that I can change, and quite frankly I'm not going to change that.

After 2006, this post was irrelevant. It was topped by clovecigar spammer and a Thompson minion (to which I also "jumped his shit.")

    Don't get all butthurt, geesh.

If your writing sometimes can't be understood, then some will ignore you, and others will point it out.

Very little need to worry about identity theft online if you deal with responsible companies. In most cases, the retailer never even sees your credit card number past the last four digits. Your biggest risk of identity theft is actually when you pay for your meal at a restaurant with one. When the waiter is off processing your payment, you can't see if he's taking a picture of his card or writing down your number, but many people never think about that danger. At fast food restaurants, cashiers have been known, on occasion, to take your credit card at the drive thru and hand you back a credit card with the same design that they stole from a customer the week before. To get your credit card information online, you have to hack the credit card company (since the retail Web sites payment pages are just portals for the CC company), but if you can do that, you can get everybody's card number, not just those who used it online. I'm sure you all feel safer now.

Take it easy, buddy. If Will was going to jump your shit, you'd know it.

Around here we do appreciate good grammar, punctuation, spelling, etc. and while not everyone knows how to spell a word correctly or where to place a comma, I'm pretty sure you know you need to capitalize the first word of your sentence. It's just lazy, and a sure way to not be taken seriously.

Will - he has a "write" to try to help people. Don't be messing with his "writes"!

Don't take it personally, fuzzy - you don't know Will like the rest of us do. Probably because you've not been around long enough to know Will is sensitive about certain things - spelling and grammar (...and spamming) are just a few of 'em. Will's kinda like the older brother who likes to indian rub your head everytime he hugs you - it's irritating, I know, but he means well...

That's some pretty funny shit right there. Maybe it's even prophetic, guess we'll see soon enough.

You are right TT, I have no fear of using my credit cards anywhere. There are built in mechanisms for protection.
It's a lot easier to call Visa or American Express and do a fraud claim or charge-back than to fuck around with Paypal and have to jump threw thier 10,000 hoops to get a refund.

Looks like the sabretoothcrotchcricket/crabby boy has reevaluated Will's perceived transgressions and seems to be in a much better place these days... Stay tuned!
