    Default Excalibur 1066...What gives???

    Hello all,

I smoked an Excalibur 1066 (King Arthur) today. When I first puffed it the taste was great, kinda spicy and woody. But then after I exhaled...Bleagh! I would get this rather unpleasant taste in the roof of my mouth. The best word I can use to describe it is sour. It was like that for the whole smoke-good in, good out, then ass. Has anyone else had a similar experience or is my mouth just wired wrong?

I like the regular Excaliburs better than these BUT I've never had that bad an experience with them. There are times when depending on how I feel, what I ate or drank recently that can change how a cigar tastes to me. Now I LOVE Anejos's but there have been times where they tated like total crap to me BUT it wasn't the cigar's fault.

If I were you, I'd smoke a few more before you conclude you can't stand them.

I'm definitely not giving up on them, but I did take them off my Christmas list. I enjoyed the actual taste of the smoke, but it was the aftertaste that killed it. Will have to try some regular Excaliburs and see how they do.
