Newf, have you looked into opening a PO Box in the States? I have no idea what the cost/year is but I imagine it's not too bad.

Going to check your PO Box eh?

No see here's what you do...you take an empty humidor with you. Goto the PO Box, get your package and then remove the cigars and put them into your humidor. If you ever get searched at the border you tell them you've had these smokes for weeks now, and this is your travel humidor!

    LOL!

I have heard of people doing this though...not sure if they would let a Canadian get a mail box. You may have to find somebody in the US to do it for you and they "let you use it"

I have checked into it, and I can't get one at the USPS without a US address. They won't rent 'em to Canadians.

USP will, but $39.95 / month for the smallest one. So unless I'm gonna be spending hundreds a month on smokes, it wouldn't be worth it. Plus the fact, there are times I'm only in the US every second week, so the package may be inside in a dry room for as much as 2 weeks.
