Ashton ESG?

Anyone heard/had any of these before?

I was at Tampahumidor today and was talking to Mike(the owner). I was looking for the VSG's which he finally got in, halellua! Then he pulled a box frmo around the corner and said have you had any of these?

I had never seen them before. He said something about making a different size each year for five years?

I ended up grabbing a couple...what can I say I am a sucker for rare items! and yes I did get some VSG's finally.

I have a couple and am waiting for the right time to smoke them. From what people are saying you either like them or hate them...seems more people dislike them than people like them.

There's ESG dbl coronas or something for sale at the local B&M. $30.00. I hate 'em.

I think msrp is around 20 bucks a piece and they are churchill size. They are going to be releasing another size each year for another 4 years. Apparently this first size is already a year or 2 late, so I am not sure if they will be releasing multiple sizes a year to catch up.

I smoked one about two weeks ago. Nice, but not worth 20 bucks I would put it around the VSG.

I was honestly looking for a more powerful cigar than a vsg but I found this to be lighter.

Bought a box.

Sold most of it in 3 packs to some friends. Paid $21.00 a stick.

Not a bad stick but just not a great one. I have a few in the humidor. Maybe it was smoked before it was ready.

I guess I will see at Christmas time when I smoke another one.
