    Default Newbie Needs Advice

Have been smoking El Rey Del Mundo Rubusto Suprema Double Maduros for years. I'm having trouble finding a very good full-bodied Honduran Maduro (Punch are mixtures of Nic, Hon). The quality of the El Reys aren't what they were 6-8 years ago. JR Ultimates, Excalibur, and Hoyos aren't as good. Can anyone recommend a Nicaraguan (I've had no luck with them at all)
Just bought a bundle of Rocky Patel Seconds on Cigarbid, Thanks.

    Howdy,

Please, introduce yourself and add a little to your profile.

Padron is always a safe bet for Nic cigars, and the Antano's are good too.

Can't think of any Honduran puros other than ERDM that I like. Carlos Torano, Hoyo de Monterey, and as you said Punch all offer Honduran blends that are pretty good.

I do enjoy a ERDM robusto Larga now and then, and haven't noticed any lack of quality.

Default RP Vintage Seconds 1990 Toro

12 year old wrapper with 5 year old filler! Most beautiful dark, dark box pressed cigar I've ever seen. Very strong with tell-tale raunchy, bitter Nic bite! Back to the ERDM Robusto Suprema for me.

My name is Terry from NC. Prefer a strong puro. Is there anything besides a ERDM Oscuro worth trying. Thanks.

I don't really think he needs to put anything in his profile if he doesn't want to. With all the fucking nutballs around lately, I wish I had never put my information in my profile in the past which if you notice isn't there anymore. If he participates here, we'll get to know him in due time.

l1235, I used to smoke quite a few of those ERDM Robusta Supremas a while back and I do remember that they used to be stronger quite a ways back. I remember the first time I smoked one of those, it knocked me for a loop. As the years went on, I picked one up again and it did seem to not be as strong as I had first remembered but just figured it was because I had built up a tolerance for cigars.

Ever try El Rico Habanos? They're Dominican but these are pretty strong cigars. I would also second Kevin7's suggestion regarding the JdN Antanos. Also the LFD Chisels are pretty darn strong too.

Lol. I am not asking for his life story, but something similar to your profile would be nice.

LMAO!! Well, my profile is extremely limited so it's probably not the best example.

Hey l1235, Kevin7 is from NC, he's near the Charlotte area (NC is a HUGE state so you may be six hours from him ). If you're nearby to him, you oughta try and meet him and some of his yahoo friends for cigars sometime, you won't be disappointed.
