It's been sitting in my humidor since... well... I don't know... I can't even tell you where I got it let alone when. Now that I stop and think it's probably at least 2 years old. It unfortunately dried out really bad on me when my first humi went to crap but now with my beads and well seasoned humi it got back to normal.

I didn't know what I wanted to smoke tonight but the last time Guado was over he was really curious about it so I put down the 60 RP '90 I had in my hand and grabbed this one instead.

It's construction was very nice, the cap was interesting with it's twisted circle finish (I'm sure there is a term for it) and the foot had an overlap type not a typical cut look but more of a fold over.

Now my taste buds aren't to the point where I can say that something tastes like leather, earth, hints of nutmeg, etc but this was definitely a nice hearty smoke. What I've read online says it's suppose to be medium but I disagree. Starting off the cigar was smooth through the first 1/3, but then it changed up and got to a thicker/fuller taste, the last third... OMG! It's the first time I think I can say I really tasted Earth... all of a sudden it felt like a bully shoved my face in the dirt.

The draw was poor compared to what I'm used to and it seemed to take a lot of puffing to get a real decent smoke out of it. This could be the fact of this particular sticks rough life or not.

All in all it was quite enjoyable other than the fact it didn't seem to pair up with my Jameson's that well, it just didn't seem smooth past the first part. I don't know if that fully makes sense but it was like the taste was almost choppy, I guess it could be from the uneven draw, too. The size though and slow/tough draw did allow me a lot of extra time to catch up with some friends I hadn't spoken to in quite a bit so that definitely helped with my evening. The ash was thick and full which I probably could have kept going through the whole smoke if I had been sitting instead of pacing back and forth on the phone.

I guess that's it. All in all a good smoke that I would definitely try again and would suggest to someone looking for something a bit different. Don't be afraid of the way it looks or is packaged (I read that it comes in a box of 10 all sitting on a bed of Tobacco) it's definitely a good smoke and not crappy like I partly expected.

Seatbelts save lives, my best friend and I are alive because of them.

Nobody is ever gone as long as there is someone to remember them.
