Newbie Review #9 Perdomo Signature Collection

This is a pretty quick review because there just isn't much to say about this cigar. It's not a bad cigar at all. There's just not a lot to say about it.

First of all, it certainly is mild. There's a very slight coffee flavor to start. About half way through I started to pick up some notes of toffee. The last third had a bit of the peppery bitterness to it but nothing overwhelming. However, the flavors weren't nearly as intense as the cigars I've been smoking recently.

It had a very even burn all the way down to the band. The draw was real easy through the whole cigar and it produced clouds of smoke.

This is an easy cigar that won't challenge you much.

Newbie Appropriateness: A new cigar smoker will want to start off with a mild cigar. These are certainly very mild. There's nothing here that would scare a newbie away. But for me, after smoking less than a dozen cigars I'm already finding that I like the fuller body cigars with more flavor. But if I'm in the mood for something subtle this cigar could be a good choice.
