A gift of a bundle of Nic3000 from 2007. Some mat remember these as a Oliva made cigar marketed by Ortega as series X I think in 2004 or so. Great smoke but put under because Fuente seems to own the letter X ,but unlike a lot of opus X these cagars wrappers actually burned

Nice! I didn't even start in cigars until 2007.

Fuente had to fight a long lawsuit over the Opus name though.

    Handful of each:

    -Perdomo 10th Anny. Criollo robusto
-Oliva Master Blends 3 double robusto
    -Antano 1970 robusto grande
    -Four Kicks robusto
    -Camacho Corojo Monarca
    -Cabaiguan Guapos RX
    -601 Red Label robusto

    Plus a few I didn't pay for:

-(2) handfuls of Alec Bradley mixed (gotta love those coupons)
-(2) RyJ's...a Capulet and a Montegue (should be good on the golf course)
-(1) Macanudo in a flavor saver humidified package (this will be just fine for my golfing buddy that smokes Backwoods)

Yep, the Monster bit me again.

    SD #4 - Nov 11

FYI, Frankfurt airport duty-free is nicely stocked and 10 Euro less a box than the Budapest duty-free. Of course, I bought my boxes in Budapest ...

I picked and smoked an Opus X Perfexcion #5 with the little missus (after a wonderful Thai dinner next store to the cigar shop). Momma is a huge Pad Thai fan, and I'm hooked on Massaman Curry.

    Also bought:

Davidoff Maduro R (love those cigars)
    Davidoff Colorado Claro #3
    2 - El Centurion Toro
2 - San Cristobal Revelation Mystic
    2 - Tatuaje 7th Reserva
2 - Four Kicks #5 (my shop talked me into them - we shall see...)

I won the following bids this week:

La Aurora Corojo Robusto - (5-Pack)
    5 Vegas Limitada 2013 Belicoso - (5-Pack x 2)
5 Vegas Classic Torpedo - (Box of 20)
Oliva Saison Torpedo - (Box of 20)

I am so hopeful that the Saison tastes like the old Oliva "O" Bold, which I couldn't smoke enough of.

I don't recall ever have a mediocre 858 SG. They've always been exceptional to me".

I asked the wife to stop by my favorite store and get me a couple cigars. I told her to surprise me when she asked what type of cigars.
This is what she brought home.
