    Default '59 Torano nb review

I had a Torano Exodus 1959 maddy churchhill. I know, it's been smoked and reviewed a million times, but I liked it a lot, so what the hell. And in case someone hasn't tried one yet.
Construction: 8.0 Very nice, the wrapper is so smooth, could hardly see the edge of the wrapper. Veins very small. The cap was nice, but when I cut, the whole cap ring just fell off. But the wrapper stayed on, no unraveling (even after I dropped it ). Box press shape feels nice in the hand. Slightly sweet taste to the wrapper. Very attractive cigar.
Taste: 9.1 Very rich and smooth. Chocolate, earth, leather, smooth feeling smoke, I guess we call that creamy. Not much poke-me-in-the-nose. A tad bit more body woulda been nice, but then it would have been a different cigar. Great aroma. I nubbed the hell out of it.
Burn: 9.2 Excellent burn. No touch ups required. Started a few little runs, but they self-corrected. Did not taste hot when getting to the nub. Great draw throughout. Plenty of creamy smoke. Not a long asher - they fell off easily at an inch in length.
Value: 9.0 Great enjoyment for a moderately priced stick. I feel the urge to buy a box.
    Overall: 8.83

These are probably my favorite go to smokes for any given occasion. CA just gave them a 91 rating a few months back, I knew it all along.

If you need to pick up a box:

I just got a few boxes perfecto's in yesterday.

THX for the review. It is never a bad thing to post a review even if it has been done before. We all have differing opinions on cigars and I love to read them all the time.

As for the CT59 . . . I love that cigar and it is popular with many on this board. CT makes many nice ones and this is a close second to my favorite the CT Tribute.

I, too, am a big fan of the '59, I also really enjoy the Casa Torano line. I don't think I've smoked a CT I haven't liked.

I have every size of the Exodus 1959. I absolutely enjoy them. The other Toranos (signature , Reserva Selecta Maduro Churchill, Exodus Silver and Virtuoso Encore are just for a change of pace. The Tribute 2004 is an awesome smoke as well.
The wrapper is a Habano 2000 which is dark like a maduro.
