    Default Well this is disappointing

About 6 months ago I had a Partagas Black Maximo. I had gotten it from a friend and it had plumed nicely in the tube. It was a very flavorful and enjoyable smoke as I remember. I bought a couple more at the local B&M and they have been sitting for a few months. I fired one up a while ago and what a disappointment. The appearance was good and the burn is ok, but the flavor is just not there. The first few puffs were nice, but then the flavor just kind of disappeared. I am about half way thru it now and it has not improved. Is this an inconsistant cigar or have my tastes changed that much?

Hmmm. I've had one in the past but didn't take any notes on it. I don't remember it being a bad cigar. I snatched one of the tubos out of the Troops pass. I guess I'll bury it for a while and come back to it. I have alot of very nice smokes from the Bday club to get to first anyway.
