Thread: New Ashtray ... finally.

  1. #1

    Default New Ashtray ... finally.

Finally got me a cigar ashtray on the way. I've been smoking out of a $2 glass walmart ashtray. I believe my keyboard and pants have collected more ash than this thing.

So I won this on ebay. $11.90. Not too bad. I had been looking into get a Stinky Ashtray, but I really don't need one that big. Plus, I usually smoke at my computer desk, and it has limited space. The only thing is, the estimated arrival was 10 days after I purchased it! Ded Gum! I won something on Cbid last Tues night, it was sitting at my front door at 6:38 am Thursday. They ship from Penn. and this ebay guy is shipping from New York. Ri-freakin-dicolous.

OK, I admit this is a total "Neener Neener". But I just won this on CBid for $9.

Talk about shipping weirdness though. DHL took 3 days to ship from CigarBid to the city of Rocklin which is about 25 miles away from my house. It took 4 more days to get from Rocklin to my house

You'll notice that there is room for 3 cigars on that ashtray. So if any 2 of you want to come hang out in the pines and oaks of the foothills and sit on the deck smoking some nice cigars then I'm prepared.

By the way. It's amazing how a simple accessory like a nice ash tray can make the smoking experience nicer. My next purchase is a better cutter. I've got a bid on a double blade cutter on CBid. Anything's got to be better than the single blade POS I'm using now.

I just got me one of these:

It goes great in the HerfShed, along with the Stinky.

    Checking best winner . . . .

    Calculating gloat worthiness . . . .

    Program running . . .

Yes Chris, the calculations show that it is, in fact, ALL ABOUT YOU

But man, that CAO ashtray rocks! I mean, you still win, but the CAO rocks!

i really want that CAO ashtray. I'll trade my Winner status to anyone for that ashtray.
The very existence of flame-throwers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, "You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done." -unknown

Love my CC humidor, Hate my CC single blade cutter. It always seems to crush the cigar on the side opposite the blade. But I just won a double blade cutter and a 5 pack of CAO Brazillia Gol! on CBID.

And that was my last CBid purchase this year. I Swear!

No more, I'm going cold turkey. No More CigarBid until 2007.

    I'm weak, help me.

Chris, you are an evil evil man.

Please, don't tempt me back to THE DEVIL SITE

    By the way:
Ded Gum! I won something on Cbid last Tues night, it was sitting at my front door at 6:38 am Thursday.
If you switch your shipping schedule to weekly then you save money on shipping. In fact, if your getting 2 or 3 things in one week then you save enough on shipping cost to buy another 5 pack.

Dang It! I'm NOT going to look for more 5 packs.

Help me, I'm addicted. I need an intervention.

When I do cigarbid (has been a couple of months) I go through and low bid tons of stuff I want and usually I get one or two of them. Example - I grabbed a ten pack of ghurka regent class torps for 23 bucks but missed out on my box of avo 80's at 268. They went in the 270 range but I set a limit.

Good thing too, if all my orders hit at once I would go broke in an instance.

The one thing that stands out that I wish I bid on was about 8 months ago I saw a box of graycliff espresso go for 140, yep 140 - dam near 1/4 retail. Not worth msrp but I would be happy with a box for 140.
