Dried Cigars

I found a dried up, old Cohiba, (I dont know if that how you spell it) in a drawer the other day and I was wondering if there was anyway I could save it, and remoisten it. It would be ashame to throw it out, but I don't want to smoke it dry.
Any suggestions?

you want to gradually rehumidify it, if it is recoverable, it might split if its rehumidified too fast

put it in a ziplock bag and put it in your humidor for a few weeks and then take it out of the baggie...

least thats one method ive heard, might wait to do it till someone else gives their input... someone else might have some better methods

The most important thing to remember is that restoring a dried cigar takes time.

Step 1 - Take your cigars and put them in a non-humidified humidor. If this doesn't exist, then you can use a ziplock bag with some holes poked in it. You want to bring the cigars to a steady humidity level that is much less than 70%. Let them sit in this environment for about 2-3 days.

Step 2 - Take a fresh clean sponge and get it damp with distilled water. Place inside the zip-top bag and allow it to sit there, not touching any cigars, for at least one more week. This will slowly add humidity to the cigars at a rate that will prevent the wrapper from bursting.

Step 3 - After two weeks your cigars should start to look a lot healthier. Put them in your charged, maintained humidor at this point. Don't smoke them yet. Let them rest for while. I would suggest a month or two, just to make sure things are back to normal. Then you can feel free to smoke to your hearts content.

Hey thanks a lot!
But what if I don't have a humidor to let the cigars rest in? What are my other options?
I heard putting cigars in a ziplock bag and sticking them in the freezer works, but do i do that in this case after I remoisten?
