    Default New to Cigarsmokers.com

I couldn't sleep last night so I sat back and smoked a La Gloria Serie R and while I was relaxing I figured there had to be a website dedicated to cigar smokers. I was in fact correct and found 3-4 but decided I liked the way this one was run. I enjoyed the way the botl jumped all over a guy signing up and asking for free cigars before deploying to Iraq. I read several where guys came in looking for cubans or chicks coming in looking for great flavored cigars. Prior to this I relied on typical magazines (I stopped reading them when they featured Micheal Irvin smoking a vanilla cigar....We all know his humidor is filled with crack rock). Anyway, I don't usually suffer from insomnia, but last night I spent a good 3 hours reading up on the posts. This is a long first post but I look forward to contributing in many more ways of just being an ass. btw, I would like some cuban cigars sent to me please before i am sent out to patrol the borders of mexico. Governor Schwarzeneger is not sharing his stash.

Welcome from Mississippi. I like this guy. Something about him.

Anyways, stick around, use the search button if you have any questions.

What else do you like to smoke?

I used to keep a reef tank and accessed forums for that. I have been well trained in the search features. I am a fan of google. I mainly want to use the forum to gain access to the different opinions and decide from there. Like reefkeeping Cigar smokers have more opinions than assholes....or was it more assholes than opinions....either way I try to stay away from spoon fed posts....

    Welcome!!

There are MANY cigar sites, some good and some which are run by complete assholes:

    StogieChat
    BOTL.org
    ClubStogie
    HabanoCigarForum
    CigarWeekly

So do yourself a favor and don't waste your time at those places. While some of the members at those sites are good people, the site owners/admins are proven shitbags and most of the posts are useless fluff, downright stupidity useless crap and blatant ass kissing of the "powers that be." The people who have been run of the real sites for asshattery wind up at those places which is a GOOD thing because the rest of us don't have to deal with them anymore.

I am not new to smoking cigars but I have not been as promiscius as I should be. I like medium to full bodied cigars. I do like the occasional maduro.
Cigars in my humidor right now

    la flor domincana double ligero
    Tamborilo perfectos
    hoyo de monterey excalibur
    Punch Gran Puro
La Gloria Serie R (natural and maduro)
    CAO Gold
A few random others as well as some that i bought overseas
    CAO Sopranos Boss (on order)

When I travel to Tampa next month I plan on getting some Gurkha perfectos and the new la perla habana maduros.

any other suggestions would be much appreiated.

Welcome Aboard there are alot of great people on this board and alot of interesting information and reviews as far as the magazines go I think we all agree that the writers in those magazines are Prostitutes that will say anything for the right cigars.

Welcome from the great state of Utah- where you can have multiple wives, but cannot find a place to legally smoke a cigar outside of your own home.

    Welcome from MT!

Also, do you ever frequent the "My Favorite Cigar And Bar" in Brownsburg? My brother in law (an Indy native) really enjoys going there. Nice casual place to enjoy a smoke and a drink.
