    Default New here, from CT

hey everyone. I have been hanging out on this site for about a week so far, and I decided to register and partake in the action. My name is Jon and I live in Shelton CT. I have only enjoyed a premium cigar maybe a dozen times in my life. I used to smoke cigs, and i would sometimes buy ericks or black and milds to smoke on an occasion. My friend got me into smoking cigars, and i can honestly say I am SOOO excited to try new smokes.

    What i have smoked:

Acid Blondie - i really enjoyed it
Acid Kuba Kuba - i enjoyed about half of it, then it kinda got old
    Acid waffer - eeeewwwwwww
Arturo Fuente Hemingway Classic - def my favorite smoke so far
I had another waffer that the local shop recommended, dont remember what it was, but it wasnt good.
and a few others that i dont really remember, must not have been that great

i only smoke maybe 2 a month, right now i smoke more then that while trying to find some new ones to enjoy. therefore i dont mind spending 8-10 on a single cigar since i dont smoke everyday. although i know there are some great smoke in the 3-5 range.

with what i have written that i have smoked and enjoyed, what would you guys recommend i try?

thanks in advance, and sorry for the long intro!!

first of all one thing you learn here is that long intros are very welcome... don't apologize ;)

second, smoking 2 sticks a month will soon turn into a daily thing (just a fair warning, cbid is a bitch once you get hooked)

third, welcome from iowa, you will enjoy your stay here

PS.... I'm popping some popcorn....... just in case
I'm not big on doing reviews, tobacco doesn't taste like "cocoa" or "nutty" or "mocha" to me, it tastes like freakin' TOBACCO. I know what I like and I really don't care what other people think of other cigars. I've never read a review and said to myself "Wow, that sounds like a cigar I'd like to try!"

I love to ask questions...I also love a straight answer. Something tells me I won't get one.

i was waiting for someone to ask.

    long story short:

i used to be in a band, and i grew my hair out. when my hair gets long it turns into a fro. my last name is koenig. most everyone calls me by my last name, koenig, because there are a lot of jons around. it just makes it easier. some started calling me fro, cause of the hair, and some still called me koenig, then one day it turned into Fro-nig, from fro and the NIG out of koeNIG. it is not meant to be racist or anything, i hope noone was/is offended.

if someone is offended i would change the screen name. but for eased of use, for me. i would love to keep it the same. seeing as you have done research on me already, lol.
