    Default Alcohol poisoned Infant

A two month old infant is miraculously recovering with no permanent ill effect from a BAC of .364
The mother and infant were dropped off at the emergency room while her boyfriend drove off and has disappeared. The mother gives conflicting stories as to how this happened. The baby is a ward of the state for now.

In another story, a man is arrested (thank god!) for seriously injuring a two year old toddler with "rough play", so they claim. The child has a skull fracture, perforated intestine, and serious friction injuries (from a carpet apparently) on his back. He'll be OK though.

From a day ago. Another toddler just shy of two fell multiple stories from an outside stairwell after being allowed to play on it (obviously unsupervised) with his four year old sister while visiting his grandmother. He's in serious condition with internal injuries and skull fractures.

Stuff like this just burns me up!

What the hell is the world of parenting coming to!
