    Default Funky VSG size?

I saw these the other day on my Anejo Hunt and almost bought them. I guess it is not THAT funky, I had just never seen a VSG in that size before.

However I then realized..for $13 I could get something better or more Anejos and I put them back.

    They were neat looking though.

Is there REALLY a difference in flavor profiles with this size or is it just a gimmick?

That is the Enchantment size. I love 'em. IIRC MSRP is around 9.25/stick.

I have had one, and I would have to rate it as the best NC that I have smoked so far. I seriously need to acquire some.

They are the first thing to fly off the shelves at work.... I can sell the whole box of them before I even open the other sizes.

So you mean that VSG tastes better than the VSG I got from quint yesterday I havn't mastered the art of lighting cigars with that kind of end on them, for some reason it burns unevenly the first 1/3 of the cigar.

Taste is a personal thing. That particular cigar might taste better to you or not. Different sized cigars containing the same blend have different tastes.

Try clipping the pointed end at the bottom of the cigar off. Sometimes that helps in the lighting.

I always pondered doing that but I didnt know if it would be "right" or not.

I agree, taste is a personal thing. That's why there are so many macanoodles sold. And although I might give you grief about it, what you smoke is your personal choice. And taste buds mature as you smoke more.. not really speaking from personal exp. yet, my taste buds haven't gone beyond the medium body smoke yet.. or clarify that, I love treymystic, and some shorter full body smokes.

It is a knack to light these.. took me forever to get a AFSS to smoke evenly (I was heavy on the light), but he's right clipping it works, or I see some smokers take a torch (usually a triplex) to the side that isn't burning. I personally don't burn the off side, I think it affects the taste.

Really, as long as you like the smoke.. what's wrong? Kinda like a closet acid smoker. If nobody knows.. LOL. really though, I sea alot of guys just cut the nub off because they can't get an even burn. Whether you do it in front of an audience is another story. :)

I love those little feet on the WOA's, and Best Sellers/SS's.

I think it is just a neat way to light them. I havent had an issue yet.

I'll second Drew's comments. I love the Enchantment, it is one of my current favourites to smoke, not too big so I can usually finish it in a reasonable time. Next time I am in Buffalo I am thinking of picking up a box.

The Enchantment is a cute little fatty that smokes very nicely. I prefer the thinner guage vitolas for their stronger sungrown profiles though. The Illusion is my favorite of the line.

Ooh, my favorite shape, so easy to light, such a perfect smoke as it starts off a little mild because of the restriction on air flow, opens up to a full blast and then tapers off towards the narrow end.
