I am a big VS fan and as these are the top of their line(someone else's description not mine) I put off smoking one of these. I received 4 0f them in a sampler and they have been in the humi since August.
They are rated medium to heavy bodied, I disagree, these smokes are definetely on the mild side.
The one I smoked had a veiney wrapper and was packed looser than most premium smokes. I nubbed it in 45 minutes. Due to it's loose packing the draw was super easy for a 6X50 cigar.
It started out super smooth and creamy and gained in strength progressively. The final third had a slightly woody taste and finish.
This cigar produced a fair amount of smoke, burned well, and held a good light grey ash.
I found this cigar was one dimensional, not the complex flavor described by the retailors. A nice, smooth, pleasant,no bitterness at all, but boring smoke.
I can find this size only in the sampler. CI sells them 5 for $35.00, CVM has a box of 20 for$115.00. These prices are for different sizes than the one I smoked.![]()
