Stoli isn't the worst but I don't like it. I have drank many of vodka in my drinking day. Only top shelf stuff will do. I can tell 95% of the time if a vodka is good quality from the smell and taste. This may sound weird and think it's not possible but I can tell a quality vodka in a blind taste test after 5-6 drinks. After 5-6 of a crappy vodka like a Absolute my neck stiffens up and I can barely move it. Like I sleeping on it wrong all night and you got to turn your whole body just to turn your head to see something. It's crazy sounding but true

Nope, I don't doubt you for a second since you know a lot about vodkas!! I have heard that there is a huge difference between GOOD vodkas and crap so you confirmed what I've been hearing.

What are some vodkas that you'd recommend?
    TBSCigars - "On Holiday"
Grammar - It's the difference between knowing your crap and knowing you're crap.

My favs are Level which is actualy made by Absolute but is a top shelf (eating my previous statement about Absolute )

Armadale - This stuff is extra smooth.

Ciroc - made from snap frost grapes not grain like most every other vodka out

GrayGoose - great vodaks that can be found at any bar

All are in the $35+ range which is kind of on the high side for vodkas

Here's me and my Boone's Farm stock.

  5. Default My Bar...

Cost all of $20 to make...

I just recently acquired a new kind of booze I'm really digging: "Armagnac" (top shelf second bottle on the left).

  6. Default Wine Cellar

Living by the wineries in California, it's almost seems mandatory to have one of these if you're into wine. Like cigars, you can build a collection pretty quick and wine is also just as picky about being stored in the "right conditions." I couldn't believe how much of a difference "white wines" tasted when storing them at the right temperatures (around 45+). Used to drink them straight from the fridge. By doing that, you lose a lot of the "flavor profile" because the fridge is a lot colder.

Great part is these wine fridges have come down a lot in price.
