Ketel One is another great vodka. When I go out it's either that or Greygoose since most places don't cary the other stuff I like. But you can't go wrong with either

Sorry, that was a family joke...if somebody is gushing about something at our house, it comes out ALAWKIT....ALOT (translated as "I like it...a lot") so it just came out that way.

Ya, I suppose it's not so funny when you read it....

F'ing shit people, nice bars all around! Grammer check?
The very existence of flame-throwers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, "You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done." -unknown

Thanks guys. Took a bunch of pic's but, this was the best. Maybe it's time for a new camera. The original owner of the house made custom bars for a living. Nice of him to leave one in my new home, a wet bar!!!!!!!

Now to stock it up for company as I don't drink.

Any time....We have to smoke out back though. Inside the three season room or around the fire pit. The fire pit has been my choice of late, with the weather being as it is.

I plan on building a bar when I retire and build my house. I just have 11 years left to wait.

    But, I can always dream.

A thread near and dear to my heart. I don't have room for a bar but seeing your photos has me wanting to sell my house and move.

Has anyone tried Van Gough Vodka? My favorite is Belevdere.

I've wanted to try VanGough but always had a feeling I wouldn't like.
Belevdre is a good quality but my taste buds don't like it. I tried to tell them it's good but they just won't agree.

    COMB2,
Your taste buds must be way more refined than mine. Many times I have done a side by side comparison and then only good vodka I can pick out of the line up is Chopin.

    Maybe I'm just a lush???

Chopin is a potato vodka. The only Top shelf potato I belive. It does have a different taste though, havent had any in a long time. Nice collection. Vox is good stuff to

If anyone wants to try a good vodka at a good price try Rain Vodka. Made in the USA too

RAIN Vodka is the only vodka made exclusively from organically-grown American grain on Fizzle Flat Farms in Yale, Illinois

I would never call you a lush. I think it's great you can tell the difference in various vodkas. I can so that with some scotch and bourbons but vodka is beyond my scope.

As you probably know Chopin is made by the same people that make Belvedere. AND as you said being made with potatoes instead of grain makes it easy to pick out especially if you drink it straight. The others take a really refined palate to taste the difference.

Did anyone see the show a while back where the experts all picked Smirnoff's over Goose?

I'll look for Rain Vodka and pick up a bottle Level 1 for tonight. I like trying different types of booze even if I can't tell the difference.

    Coventry Cat,
    I haven't tried Glenlivet 21 but have tried Macallan's 21, 25 & 30 on a couple of occasions in Las Vegas.

Chopin is Great, so is Van Gough. The only thing I could think of that would make your bars better is a keg-o-rator and some taps. Then you would be in heaven. I just wish i had room my own place to build a shrine to alcohol.

Thanks COMB2 for your recommendation of Rain Vodka. I'll keep an eye out for that!

    Here is my bar.

I have been getting into scotch a lot lately. Anyone have any suggestions on a good cheap bottle ? I like Mcallen, Glenfidich, Glenlivit, Glenmorangie etc. I just dont like spending $50 a bottle.

I am a huge Chopin fan also. It seems like most of these new vodkas that pop up, what seems like weekly are all made by Absolut.
