    Default Cheap smoke

Looking for some suggestions on cheaper smokes that are worth the smoke. I am really getting into things and am smoking a stick a day or everyother day and I really can't afford a $5-$6 per day habit. I did pickup a couple $1.60 cigars at the local shop, but have yet to try them.

I haven't tried them but on thompsons they're selling a cigar called La Condessa. They make it sound like an all-world smoke and they're just over a dollar a stick, but then again Thompson makes them all sound good.

I carry some bundles which I use as my daily smokes. You can get excellent quality cigars with out the fancy packaging for a really good PPC (price per cigar).

Do you offer samples or singles to purchase? I would be interested in giving your bundle cigars a try.

I like-Conseugras, Perdomo "overruns," LVH "Fumas," Padron 2000s, ERDM robustos, Iguana maduros(not candelas, the maduros!) as well as Punch London clubs. God, you guys got me craving cigars in the morning.

I cant get enough of Cojimar flavored cigars!!!!!! I can get them for $1.75 each but i have to drive 45 miles to get them so im buying a box next payday!!! I do like ONYX coronas alot and I am leaning towards buying some ONYX special reserves next week too.

Onyx Reserves are darn good. I have a box of the #4's, which is a good size if you are pressed for time. I was able to get mine for roughly $55.00, which is very good since they often go for between $65.00 to $78.00.

Default My recommendations for "inexpensive" smokes...

Maria Mancini Magic Mountains (through JR Cigar mainly) - All the hype on this one seems to be true. I will admit that it is a fairly one dimensional cigar but the one dimension it has tastes really good!

La Unica bundles - Made by Fuente - mild but a nice smoke - Not a "seconds" line.

Punch Rothchilde is EMS (sorry guys, I'm not a maduro fan) - A great valuve in a cigar.

Gispert brand - I've had both toro sized and churchilsl from this line and for the money I am impressed.

Roly brand - Seconds from Rolando Reyes' "Puros Indios" line. Again, impressive for the low cost.

Cuba Aliados - Another by Rolando Reyes - Not a seconds line - Great cigar with a nice bite to it.

Consuegra line - Villazon seconds (Punch, ErDM, Hoyo, etc.) Great prices through JR. One thing with this line though is that you get a truly mixed lot. One never knows what you'll get blend wise but usually always good.

There's many more out there and all have their favorites.

Being the CigarSnob that I am I'm not an "expert" on "affordable" cigars but I tell ya, Cuba Aliados are pretty darn good as well as Consuegras.

Personally, I'd take a Cuba Aliados over a Connie but either one will do.

There are lots of short filler and/or machine made Cuban cigars that can be found for less than $2.00/stick too

My favorite along those lines are Quintero Brevas. If you shop around, you can find boxes of these for $45.00 (that price includes shipping). These are short filler, hand made, "Tripa Corta" as opposed to "Tripa Larga" which are long filler, hand made. "Mecanizado" are machine made.
