    Default VR Don Alejandro

Smoked the namesake of the Vegas Robaina line and decided to post a review.

    Cigar: Don Alejandro

    Vitola: Prominente (7 5/8 x 49)
    Age: Jun 02

This is a bit more cigar than I usually care for, but turned out to be a real treat-almost two hours of tremendous flavor. One of the nicest larger cigars I have had the pleasure to smoke. The burn stayed perfect throughout, draw was nice and easy with lots of smoke, Flavors were complex and variable; sometimes creamy, sometimes earthy, sometimes more coffee like. Full bodied with a finish that I can still taste hours later.

This was the kind of cigar that’s a lot of fun to play with: small slow draw gives one taste, couple of quick puffs and then a big draw gives a different flavor, etc.. I mostly “sipped” the cigar and it held my attention almost the whole smoke.

It’s almost silly to “nub” an 8 inch cigar, but I did smoke almost the whole thing.

Score: Got a box of his little brothers (Famosos) on order .
In spite of all evidence to the contrary, the entire universe is composed of only two basic substances: Magic and bullshit.

The famosos are really good too. They have a nice tobacco flavor.
