Dried out cigar
A friend of mine spent a semester abroad in Argentina and brought me back a Montecristo No. 2 (the good kind). However, since he doesn't know much about cigars he left it out on his kitchen counter for nearly 2 weeks. I put in one of those humidor bags as soon as I recieved it and have heard that if I leave it in there for a while (a few months) it should be restored. Note: it didn't seem too dry, but I could see some marks on the wrapper from where the leaf had constricted due to the lack of moisture. Any other suggestions?
Also, I noticed a small amount of molld in my humidor. Luckily, it was nearly empty so I didn't lose much. I wiped it down with rubbing alcohol and am about to re-season it. Any tips for preventing this from happening again woul be much appreciated. Thanks.
