    Default Cohiba Siglo IV

So today I become a man. I have decided to smoke my first ISOM. I recieved this a while back from cls515 with an agreement that i would post a review on it.

Upon lighting the first thing that hit me was smoothness with a nutty undertone. No spicyness at all. To me, and remember i'm a complete newb, this smoke stayed basically the same the whole time. Creamy would be how I describe it. I would label this medium bodied, which is good for me.

The draw was good, a little tight, but nothing to frown upon. Burn was perfect and lasted me about an hour and a half. Had to relight one time, probably my fault.

Overall, very good cigar all around.

Thanks cls515 for supplying me with this! I really appreciate it!

    Thumbs up

Good review Chris. I gotta try one of these.

Chris's review was spot on for the cigar he received. Unfortunately, we've noticed some inconsistencies with the IV, compared to my review earlier:

After reading Chris's review, I was a little surprised at what he wrote but I smoked one of the IVs from my humidor and completely agree with his "nutty" interpretation.

I would not be able to tell it was a Cohiba from the flavor without knowing beforehand. I can only attribute the difference to inconsistency as I don't question the authenticity of where the cigar was received from.

Chris, shoot me your address again and I'll try again to show you what a Cohiba can be.

Sounds good. I will try one down in Cuba next month.

What brings you to Cuba? Is it some kind of quarterly visit? Or perhaps business?
