    Default Got My New Humidor!!!!!

I am soo friggin excited! I was getting tired of tending to 4 desktop type humidors and keeping stuff in tupperware and ziplocs. I will update with some real pictures later. I have PLENTY of room in the new humi for singles and boxes. My local B&M also hooked me up with surplus desktop Humidor trays so I have alot of trays on the inside along with the boxes. I did not realize how many sticks I had amassed over the last year or so. They say it holds 1500 so we'll see. My tray system takes away from the space but makes it very orderly.

I also picked up a Cigar Oasis XL plus. Hopefully that combined with the beads will keep things in check with minimal maintanence.**edited thanks to Shelby*

    Nice!

Did you get the Oasis II or the Oasis XL plus. You have a picture of the XL Plus. The Oasis II is much bigger. It has a 50 oz reservoir and 2 fans. One fan runs constantly and the other comes on when humidity is needed. I have one for my cabinet humi and an oasis XL plus for my desktop. They both do a great job.

    awesome...

I'm supposed to receive my first real humidor today... been using a tupperdor for the past year and a half... just a lil 100 cigar desktop... been keeping my collection small and mobile, since I'm still in college and moving often... but soon I should be more stationary and trying to grow my collection!

    congratulations
the trunk is > all...it was made with love. Mine was made by underpaid 12 year olds.

I only have plans to buy 3 more boxes and then I Am done for while. I have to be in awesome physical shape for the next 8 months so no smoking for me..well other than the occasional weekend stogie.

I plan to purchase a G3 box, Exodus 1959 gold box(torpedo) and a box of ISOM Super partagas.

I just want to buy them now so they have a chance to "ripen."

I have a pound of beads placed throughout the new humi so hopefully that combined with the XL plus will maintain a nice atmosphere.

Wow, that's nice! Nothing better when you can optimize space by buying a humidor that acts as one of your furnitures. AMAZING! I was looking in cbid and they had a coffee table humidor, with glass tops. Looked awesome, but wonder if it holds humidity pretty well. Either way, it'd make a nice center piece.

They sure are happy in there.

Next 8 months is Fire academy. I work for the Fire dept as a paramedic. But need to get my Fire cert.(which includes approx $15K raise) so definitely worth it!

hey guardo, good for you! Thats a great looking piece of furniture you have there! I love the scroll legs on it! My wife would freak if I bought that home!
I want to join the Fire service, but its a good pay cut (they dont get paid vry well here) and a posting anywhere within the state of NSW. No say in it. So, i stick to fixing aeroplanes, and fighting fires for free...
