Wife going to D.R. need advice

My wife is going on a business trip to Santa Domingo DR. I need advice on brands of cigars and customs policies. If anyone has been to D.R. and can recommend tips on the following I would appreciate it....

1. Brands. Do I just tell her to get the same brands that I smoke now. I smoke Dominican maduro (Partagas, Fuente, La Gloria Cubana, etc).

2. Other brands from nearby nations if you know what I mean. Looking at the guide recently posted, I see that the same brands I smoke also come from this other nation.

3. Customs practices. What are the limits and accepted products she can bring back.

4. any other tips (how not to get ripped off ).

Customs regs = As far as I know, nothing from that "other nation."

She won't really find any better deals of what you currently smoke.

If it is sold out of a open stall, on the beach or other unofficial location, they are fakes. There is no LCDH in the DR.
