I purchased these cigars about a month ago. They have been sitting in mhunidor for about that long. Ihave smoked three so far.
When I first got them I lit one and found it to be a lttle on the harsh side. After sitting in the humi for about a monh, they have smoother out
Taste: Spicy with a hint of licorice. Not as heavy as other maduros like a Partargas Black. Medium plus?
Lighting: easy to light, consistent easy draw. However the cover tends to be fragile. Burn has been uneven on two. Good ash although tends to show that the filler is not tightly packed in my opinion.
Appearance: nice vein on all so far. Dark chocolate cover as might be expected from a maduro.
Recomendation: Keep in the humi for at leat a couple of weeks. I think this is one of those cigars that will age very well. I'm going to order a box and let it sit for for a year or so. I suspect the aging will bring out a very flavored, smooth smoke.
IMO a keeper would go well with a single malt after a good meal![]()
Cheers
