Gonna replace the petcock this weekend, and take Maggie for a run. Slight drips of fuel, and the carbs were cleaned a couple months ago. Petcock is the logical...and only thing I can think of. Should be right. I installed an in line filter (pre-petcock) last fall and the leak has diminished substantially, but not entirely. Not a huge deal, but she did run a bit rich last season. Plus, the gas smell in the garage was a bit irritating.
Yep, going for a ride this weekend!
Nope, didn't happen.
welcome to my world.

I rarely get to work on my petcock these days.
It's riding time bitches. I'm headed to the house after a few weeks on the road. I'm bringing the shovel out for its spring wash and I'm hitting the road for a day. Hope some of you guys get to do the same.

Nice to see some fellow riders. I ride an 06 deluxe. a few things in Florida are good-the beaches the dining and the rides. Always a good ride. sometimes you have to ride an hour to get to it but its there. Plus daytona- thunder bay-leesburg etc.. Where I live outside of tampa they do a local bike week the week before daytona which is a nice warm up. Usually get a 2-3 hundred bike ride during.
But I gotta say the best rides Ive been on have been in Michigan up at traverse city. The lower peninsula area with the rolling olive and grape vineyards and cherry tree fields...and hops. The hills looking over lake michigan are without doubt breathtaking. (and stomach dropping).
