I had a buddy pull a couple of these out on New Years Eve. Has anyone ever had one? It was good, a bit young but good. Also, what was most suprising was it appeared to be machine made. I did not think tht Cuba turned out machine made cigars, apperantly I'm wrong.

I just bought one of these. Doesn't look too nice, lots of big veins.

To my knowledge, there a couple of machine made cuban brands. I smoked a Guantanamera last week. Jose L Peidra is another machine made Cuban.

Apparently some of the Flor de Cano cigars are handmade as well. From my source though the cigar has been discontinued. There are a couple machine made companies out of Cuba, they are significantly cheaper than a handmade Cuban. (Another machine made cigar is from cuba is made by Ramon Allones).

Are the cuban machine made, or other reputable machine rolled cigars 100% tobacco?

Yup, of course they're 100% tobacco. What else do you think they would put in a cigar?

I remember reading somwhere that most machine made cigars aren't 100% tobacco. They put like paper and other crap in there.

I don't think it is paper. It may be a processed tobacco wrapper like some cheap jiffy store gars. almost like particle board but with tobacco.

Hope it was long leaf filler at least. I remember reading once that some cigars with the processed filler have something like salt peter added to promote an even burn. When someone tires to tell me I'm smoking that same thing as thier cigarette I always think of that and all the other additives in processed tobacco products. But my cigar stinks. Yeah right.
