  1. Default I hate thugs

Well I rode my bike to a local mall to do a little shopping today. When I came out I noticed my seat was not sitting properly on the frame.

Closer inspection revealed some shithead thug had tried to rip it off my bike...I mean litterly rip it off. Fiberglass fragments were lying on the ground next to the bike.

Where the seat pan locks onto the frame to secure the seat was destroyed. The fiberglass was broken about six inches across the seat. The tounge that mounts the rear of the seat to the fender was bent and my fender was scratched.

Well I knew a buddy of mine that sidelines in motorcycle repair was off work...So I called him up. We went to work on the seat pan with some fiberglass repair stuff he had. We fixed everythig except for the scratch on the fender. We'll get to that this weekend.

Looks like it will only cost me a little over $150 to fix everything. It could have been worse.

03 Yamaha Road Star...It's a work in progress. I've lowered it a bit, put a Corbin Stinger seat on it, a Memphis Shades windshield is on order, hardbags after that.

It's been a slow go doing all that. It seems like every time I save enough money to put into it a necessity pops up. The incident yesterday set me back a little as well as buying a new battery for it the day before... But I'll get it finished eventually.

I don't know much about bikes, but the scratch on it might mean that someone hit it with a car, causing the seat to break, maybe causing the bike to fall and break the seat in the process. Like I said not a n expert but the scratch is the weird part
