This month we are featuring Cardinal Mendoza brandies in addition to our fabulous full buffet dinner.

Cardinal (originally spelled as "Cardenal,") Mendoza Brandy was originally produced in 1887 for the exclusive use of the Sanchez Romate family and close friends, but it was of such outstanding quality that it created an immediate demand. It is still made according to the same family recipe today, and the brandy is aged for an average of 15 years. Rumor has it that Leonardo is bringing some 50 year old also!

We know you'll enjoy April's treat, not to mention the one commodity that sets apart the Metropolitan Society: the great camaraderie of our members. People have been signing up for our dinners well in advance, now that you can do that through our website. But, if you'd like to join us and have not yet responded, please do so soon.

The limit for the dining room is 80 members and guests and it's been filling up fast. We can take reservations up until Tuesday, April 3 by noon. But, if you wait until the last minute, you may find that all seats are sold out.

If you are not yet a member of The Metropolitan Society but would like to join us for dinner and festivities, you can sign up and reserve your seat for the dinner by contacting us through our website at http://www.metrocigar.com
