I know some of you are young and idealistic ,that's cool. I am middle aged and cynical of most things that are accepted in todays society. I know some of you have safe secure jobs in a controlled indoor enviroment. I don't have that luxury,I work a job that everyday could cost me my life by not paying attention to what I am doing so I am kinda loud and proud in real life somewhat. I know some of you are Law Enfoercement Officers and you have my respect also. We just suffered ther loss of 2 Charlotte Oficers, murdered by a useless piece of shit that should have been sumirarly executed upon arrest

Some of us know each other in real life and have smoked it up on occasion .

What I am yammering on about is basically that these disputes are disruptive but are a part of life, here and real life
I agree with Kevin and disagree with the bulk of what Newfie posted.

This "We're all BOTLs" is a load of crap. Just because someone signs up here and says they like cigars DOES NOT MEAN that they get to run around here like an asshat just because they are a "BOTL."

If someone does something here that is objectionable, members are going to say something about it and it's just too damned bad if some of you find it too unpleasant for your liking. If you want a cigar board where everyone talks all nicey-nice and the phony asshats like Scroto just pollute those places with their blather, misinformation and leg humping and blow sunshine up each other's backsides all day then by all means, go to CigarWeakly, ClubStogie or Eric Turner's cesspool of a site StogieChat.

We also don't need 25 year old know it all "life coaches" who think they're just a little bit better than everyone else around here. Ask Scroto about how well that all worked out for him Cabaigan Juan...

So Newfie according to your logic, it's okay for people to " up" and never apologize for it, correct?

Well here's where you and I absolutely, positively, disagree.

Wait until sid turns on you someday, then you'll know exactly where many of us are coming from.

You may think it's all "bullshit" but quite frankly, I'm offended at your minimialization of what MANY other members feel is something meaningful and siginificant here so sorry, just because you scream "OK enough bullshit" it ain't gonna happen so deal with it.

    Cool

    Bill,

I think you need to switch to a more full bodied gar. Smoke it with some moonshine. Trust me!!!!!

I just smoked a '98 BGC paired with four fingers of Glenfiddich 21yo and I still feel the same way.

Actually, I screwed up George, I meant to say "BCG" which stands for "Bolivar Corona Gigantes" which is a Cuban cigar and the "98" means it came from a box with a box code of 1998. This cigar was a gift from a fine gentleman on CigarPass and CigarSnobs that I've had in my humi for over three years. It's a "julieta" vitola measuring 7 x 47.

The Glenfiddich Gran Reserva is also not available in the United States either.

    Good thing I'm from Canada.......
