Irish Whiskey = Whiskey
If you read the bottles in his photographs (or could read the bottles) you'd see what I mean.
The term whisky is generally used for grain spirits that are made in:
Japan
Canada
Scotland
Wales
The term whiskey is for everywhere else including the United States and Ireland.
There is only ONE type of Canadian Whisky that is made using the "scotch" methods (from barley and distilled twice) and I'm proud to say it is made on CAPE BRETON ISLAND in Nova Scotia!![]()
It's called Glen Breton Rare. It cannot be called "Scotch" since it is not made in Scotland.

Macallen 12 isn't that bad though. I still keep meaning to try the 15 and 18
