It is a beutifull looking stick. Construction is greast as well. But more could be hopped on the taste side. Too much many harsh notes.

What do others think about this one? And do any FOGs think this one can get better with age?

I haven't smoket my RP OWR yet. I'm letting them age for a little bit longer. Which cigar did you try the corojo or the maduro? (I have 2 of each in my humidor).

I had a corojo couple of days ago, and I enjoyed it enough to go back and thank the manager of my B&M for the tip when I was done. It is a very pretty stick. Mine was a little tough to light, and it burned a bit unevenly, but I chalked that up to my inexperience with a lighter. Once I got it lit, it had a very smooth draw and a nicely aromatic smoke.

I do agree that it was a little harsh at times, though I thought it was just because I haven't been smoking for long and it was much stronger than I'm used to. I didn't notice much of a change in the flavor throughout. I was expecting a little more taste for the price, but overall it was a pretty enjoyable smoke with a very nice aroma. I really enjoyed the smell of the smoke.

Overall, a pretty good stick. A bit pricey for me, but I think it was worth the money.

I personally love the OWR line from RP. While I am far from an avid cigar smoker, this is my choice for a $10+ cigar. I usually smoke $5-$7 sticks.

I have smoked 4 of these to this date and I have loved every single one. You are right in noting that it is a very well constructed cigar.

I think the general consensus you will find on this board though is that most like them but very few can justify the extra cost of them compared to lets say the RP Vintage 1990 or 1992. I have yet to try a 1990 or 1992 but my Sun Grown and OSG(and of course the OWR's) cigars have all been favorites of mine.

Not a terribly bad stick but I would have to agree about it being a bit harsh sort of seemed to me like they hadn't got the blend quite right yet. I t was decent but could maybe use a little bit of tweeking. Anyway for the price they charge for one of these cigars go with a PAM or a 1926. Heck I'd still take an RP Vintage over one of these any day of the week.

had a toro maduro while at red cloud and it started out great but while still on the first 3rd it burned very unevenly and then got bitter, possibly from my booze enhanced state chasing the runs, I eventually gave up and put it down.

the other regulars suggested it and didnt believe my problems with it until a day later when a much older and much more sober gentleman had the exact same issues and put his down as well. heard great things but that box must need some more time.
