    Default new from California

Hello all. Been reading the forum for quite some time and finally decided to come out of the closet.

First off, a little bit about me. I decided to go back to school after 5 years in corporate america and get a teaching credential. I am currently unemployed and loving it. No more deadlines or rat races to run. It's nice to have an easy load of education classes as the only thing on my plate. The workload is worlds different from what I remember my computer science courses having.

Regarding my cigar fetish, I haven't smoked cigars long, maybe a year or so. I've been mainly smoking the cheapies as I am now on a limited budget and have to plan accordingly. I've taken the suggestions of this site on which cheap cigars provide the most bang for the buck and have bought a couple boxes of sancho panza's, flor de olivia, and don kiki browns. I wasn't too thrilled with the sancho's or the flor's, but the don kikki's are now my favorite cigar. I found the sancho's and the flor's too mild for my tastes. I think it has something to due with my having smoked cigarettes for quite a long time in my youth, perhaps I've built up a tolerance to nicotine.

I really enjoy my cigar hours at the end of each day. It leaves me with a nice buzz that lasts into the night. rocks to me sleep without having to read a book in bed. In my opinion, a cigar gives you all the benefits of smoking cigarettes and little of the negative aspects. I use to smoke cigarettes to get that head buzz associated with the chemicals causing the capillaries in my head to constrict. The rest of the day I'd smoke just to appease my addiction. Cigars are smoked for the better part of an hour and gives you a buzz like no cigarette I've ever smoked. And the best thing is that they are nonaddictive. For the year I've been smoking, I could easily not smoke for a couple days. Suffice it to say that I am a cigar lover.

Wow, I've only been around for three hours and I'm already not the newest person here! Welcome from Long Island, fellow newbie.

I agree fully about the cigarettes. Since I started smoking cigars, my cigarette smoking has declined sharply. Cigars are such a different experience. Even the worst cigars I've ever had were much more pleasant than a cigarette.

    Anyway, welcome.

Welcome from Texas!! Also welcome to the wonderful world of cigars, they beat the crap out of those nasty, nasty cigs (my wife still smokes them but at least I got her to switch to all-natural American Spirits!!!)
There's only two kinds of cigars, the kind you like and the kind you don't.
