I thought you didn't celebrate Easter since it's a Christian holiday. I don't celebrate Easter either. I had a turkey sandwich for dinner.

Anyone else not eat ham yesterday?

I had ham yesterday for lunch, made the pea soup last night. Simmered the bone for 2 1/2 hours. Tasty.

It's ok though, I'm an independent.

Edit - this should be in the food and drink section, not in the aficionados section.

We celebrated Resurrection Sunday yesterday with burgers on the grill at some friends house. We proceeded to celebrate with a CAO Italia and Partagas Black. Nice, quiet day spent with good friends after a hectic couple days. Wife had all 4 wisdom teeth out Friday morning. Then insisted we go to a family gathering Saturday for her cousin who joined the Air Force and is heading to basic tomorrow. She didn't get to enjoy the burgers yesterday, but she loved my homemade ice cream.

We grilled some pork tenderloins and all kinds of sides. There must have been 10-12 tenderloins on there, and they turned out killer!!!!

Ham on Easter? That's new to me. I had a turkey dinner with all of the trimmings.

I had a Subway Club at the hospital yesterday. My mom had a little set back but all is well now. So much for an Easter spread.

Sorry to hear you mom's in the hospital, but I am glad things are better. I spent some holidays with relatives in the hospital from what I remembered the staff was extra nice to us.
