Default New travel humidor from B&M

Ok so I call up my friend Steve who runs the local B&M and ask if he has any 10ct "otterboxes" He says he has one type. I asked the price and style. he said he has one and uses it alot. The price was right too. I told him to set one aside I would be in later after lunch to pick it up. Well I get there and he has one on display. Perfect, I said. So he grabbed under the counter and hands me one "new" in the box. Well I was in a hurry to get back to work (not spend any more money on cigars). I got to work, finished the day out and came home. Well I get in my office and open the box and find a few "critters" in my humi. Needless to say, he will get bombed the next time I go in there.

Does your friend run or own the place. If he runs it, did he compensate the owner, or did he even realize they were in there?

I'd at least make a phone call... but that's just me.

    BTW: Nice travel humi!

Shelby, he owns the place. If he did not I would have at least asked him.

OK - Sorrry, didn't mean to offend... your first post said he ran a cigar store.

I think your plan to bomb him the next time you are in is a good one.

Sweet!!!! Nice to get free smokes. I got to know the guy that worked where I got my smokes and he would give me a stick of whatever was new about everytime I went in. His boss knew and encuraged it to build a good customer base. Also would get boxes at thier cost sometimes, thats too good to pass up

I bought one of the Zipidor-10 humidors a few years ago. I wish I had bought the 20 instead or that it was just 3/4" of an inch longer as it's not quite long enough to fit an entire row of churchill cigars at a 6-1/2" long.

I know for sure your buddy must have got a kick when you left the store without checking the contents. You rushing out the door made his day.
