    Default RIP Best seller(pics within)

So today I have my humi open, pulling a few things for a box pass, PIF and a couple newbie samplers(another board) all went well.

My boxes are packed I am back online. 5 minutes later I hear the dog playing with something unlike the sound of his toys. Something like a plastic wrap etc...

I finish posting and find him pawing one of my Best sellers. It must have falling out of one of my AF trays when I was putting them back into the humi.
Needless to say I was pissed off and grabbed my stick to see if it was smokable. Half of the wrapper was torn/punctures and I could see way to much binder to even want to try. I sucked it up...and decided....time for a best seller dissection!!

(Click on Thumbnails for larger pictures)

Here is the cigar out of the cello...sad sight.

Next up, just wanted to show the typical PITA AF band...

Here is a good look at the Binder.

Here is a good look at the filler.

    Fillers seperated.

All the components side by side.

This had to have been one of my biggest fears ever and it finally happened. I usually check the floor around me after I have been in my humidor without exception this time. This one must have rolled slightly under my line of sight under the humidor.

The dog now knows I am really pissed off as he is just sitting in the corner giving me that "please don't hate me forever" look. I will give him some hugs later just so he knows that I still love him and it's OK. ...**edit*** I just called him over and gave him some love. We are cool now.

I hope my loss was either your gain or at least interesting as to seeing the innards of a Best Seller. Keep in mind NOTHING at all was crunchy on this stick. I have taken apart many sticks for various reasons(all at proper RH) and some have been quite crunchy while others not....this being one of them.

Well, you gotta love your pets in spite of them doing things like that. They don't know any better.

Case in point. When I was in high school, I was into board gaming big time. A game I always wanted, called The Longest Day, I eventually acquired -for almost $100. Now keep in mind that was a hell of a lot more money in 1982 than it is today, and I was working for $3.35/hour sacking groceries.

So, this game is so huge, I set it up on the floor of my bedroom, and it takes up half my floor. I carefully set up the pieces, well over a 1500 - this was the most detailed game I had ever bought or seen. I go downstairs to call my friends over so I can play the Allies and blow the hell out of them.

(can anyone guess where this is going??)

So, I get sidetracked on the phone. I eventually head back upstairs to my bedroom eagerly anticipating finally getting to play this game. Lo and behold, Morris, our cat, has decided that little game pieces are close enough for him to take a dump on the game. A nice, loose one at that. Then he hacked up a few furballs. To add insult to injury, he scraped up 500-1000 of those game pieces to cover up his mess.

Good thing he managed to hide, because at 17 I was pretty immature and my mom would have put me in a home if I killed her cat.

So, I've had a few things similar to this happen since then, but I always refrain from doing any more than a light swat to the butt and saying NO sternly. Any more would be overkill, and would just confuse and frighten them for no good reason.
There's only two kinds of cigars, the kind you like and the kind you don't.
