    Default Padron Anniversario

I got this in a buy from one of our excellent BOTL's, and it's been sitting in the humi waiting for warm weather. I don't smoke much in the Winter and try not to smoke good cigars if I do. I think cold ruins the experience and dulls the flavor.

An excellent cigar! Rich, smooth, and complex! A Nicaraguan Puro from what I read. This box pressed cigar had a nice earthy and cedary bouquet before lighting. The Maduro wrapper was very dark. Once lit, it burned evenly and slowly. The smoke was on the mellow side of full bodied. It had a slightly sweet earthy, roasty flavor and aroma. Almost Espresso like in the beginning. I found it a little cedary as well. A slight peppery bite built up as it burned down. A perfect evening cigar to go with a straight Bourbon.
