Just curious if you smoke it until your fingers get hot and turn yellow or is there a point where you call it good?

Depends on the cigar. Some were made to be nubbed some not. Usually I nub sungrowns. Lighter wrappers I don't smoke as far down. Most Cubans are nubbers.![]()

It really depends on the smoke. If you are enjoying it smoke it until it hurts. If not chuck it. As with everything in cigars it is all personal taste.

i can only agree with what these two said
Sarge has it right-in essence, smoke until you don't enjoy it any more. Extinguishing a Cuban too early will cause him to come out where you live and issue you a ticket for wasting a good cigar.Originally Posted by cigarsarge

that's what i used to do until some of these guys told me that they like the intensity of the cigar to the very end. and since i've tried this, i smoke it down to about 1/2" if i'm really enjoying it.Originally Posted by cosner63
It doesn't take a genious to realize that you arne't enjoying a cigar anymore. Call it quits then. Forcing it, especially at the end, can negatively influence your opinion of the cigar.
