Ashton Cabinet #2-natural

Appearance and Construction
15 of 15

*Impressive draw, equally as good as the Patel vintage '92, which has the best draw of all cigars that I've ever had. I was very overwhelmed and surprised at how good the draw was on this cigar.

Smoking Characteristics
25 of 25
*Excellent burn the entire length of the cigar.
*Excellent plums of smoke, very rich and pleasing aroma

Flavor
19 of 25
*Toasty, sweet woodsy flavor, with notes of a "nutty" flavor reminding me a lot of walnut.
*Did have some overtones of ammonia/bitterness. I'm not afraid to say that the Thompson Phoenix has an advantage over this cigar flavor wise.

*Excellent cigar by Ashton. The wrapper was truly a flawless one, a great example to see how a wrapper should look like.
