    Default Punch cigar

Finally broke into the box I kept all my trades in. Smoked a couple that were nothing special, then hit the Punch.

Great draw. Smooth creamy flavor all the way to the end, got a just a little more spicy but not as much as should be expected in the last 2 to 1.5 inches or so. Lives up to it's name. Really packs a punch nicotine-wise. But the great thing about the smoke is that it's a very gradual head change and a very intense one towards the last third. Usually strong smokes taste like crap on the end but you bear through it for its head change powers, this one was really smooth all the way through and kept adding to the head change.

I posted in my newly formed cigar journal, that I would buy a box if I found one reasonably priced. I give it a big thumbs up!

Give the Punch Rare Corojo a try if you can find one. They are my current favorite Punch cigar. The Grand Cru's are good smokes too.

I gotta try Punch again. I bought a little 4 pack sampler in a wooden case at Duty Free last year and all 4 were putrid, and they included the 2 Hex mentioned.

    Gotta try 'em again sometime.

Boomshay, I don't know what kind it was, it just had a plain PUNCH band. It was about 5 inches long and was dark brown, medium gauge.

I'm surprised that the stick is a favorite around these parts, lets me know my newbie cigar tastes are halfway decent. Sweet.
