If I'm at a red light, I'll turn down the music no matter what it is.

    yes.

it's more of people that don't know us. my friends know I like some pretty girly stuff. but if you're some young kid with a big mustache blaring Bonnie Tyler in his Lumina, you'll get some looks.

eminem-Don't even want friends to know

Also, I don't have this playing on my radio, but about once or twice a week, I pass this strip club called the "Copacabana". I have not seen a day that I can resist singing out loud "at the copa, copacabana". It makes me laugh just thinking about it it now.

pop-punk, I hate it in principle, but it's just so much fun to listen to. I have so much angst.

Good thread. Here are a few bands that I have been rocking in the truck lately that I turn down at lights etc fearing stereotyping.

    Bread
    Beastie Boys
    Scorpions

Oh, and of course my relaxation series and Wayne Dyer inspirational CDs are kept at a lower volume too.

OK, I actually don't listen to this one, but if I did, I wouldn't want anyone to know about it!
