Thanks for that Jamie but by the time I paid duty on a full box, I might as well just buy them at home.

    Saturday:
My very last RyJ Short Churchill (the good news is, my very good friend and hunting partner is going to ISOM in April and we're dog sitting for them)

    Sunday:

1964 exclusivo maduro. Perfect weather, I was in the mood for a smoke. Not near my stash- I dropped by the closest b&m looking to try a yamasa or an escurio. No davidoff. Shit. Ok. Padrón is good. CC has been exclusively exhausting exclusivos so I elect to embrace one exclusively.
P.S. pretty sure this was the first padrón I ever tried. 2005. My notes read something to the effect of "I don't fully understand it but I can tell it's a quality cigar." Padron never lets me down.

LOL! Yeah, they're pretty much all I've been smoking lately. Great cigars. As I mentioned earlier, I've always preferred the 1926s over the 1964 however the more I smoke these Exclusivos, the more I may be changing my mind. I smoked a couple of Imperials a few months back when my store was out of the Exclusivos. I didn't like them as much, and they didn't seem to smoke as well as the Exclusivos. I wish I could be more descriptive as to why but I've never been good at cigar reviews.

I've smoked a couple of Añejos (48s, a 49 and a 50 or two and a 55 only because it was all the shop had left!) in the past couple of months and ran across a couple of Opus X which are always a treat.

Also, to keep it relevant to the thread, I had a La Flor Dominicana 1994 today. Pretty tasty.
WOW, congratulations on fatherhood! As far as work, me too, I've been working three jobs and barely have time to live........
