Hit up a duty free shop in Schiphol (Amsterdam) and got some JLP. Humidity is too high but otherwise exactly what I expected. Was bust and was happy to see these. This was my first taste of the island. I acquired one in a trade with a fog whomstds name rhymes with the words barge, large, and marge. I remember it being the paragon of what I considered to be the taste "tobacco". Nothing more or less. The base note upon which great cigars are created.

Hmmm........having some issues with my phone and Tapatalk........lol

The above 3 pics are my smokes this last weekend in reverse order. The bottom image was my Friday smoke (had the day off) and was an AF Anejo #48

The middle one was the last AF Hemingway Classic from the sampler (Colorado wrapper, not the maduro). The first one was an AF Anejo "The Shark" I smoked yesterday.

All very good cigars and I did an AF weekend because I'm heading south in June and will be resupplying with AF's. Already put my order in! LOL

Oh, honorable mentions from last week, a Partagas Series D No. 4 on Wednesday, an RyJ Short Churchill last Sunday and on the previous Saturday, one of the "casa" cigars my brother brought me back from ISOM when he went for the cigar festival in Feb of 2016. I let it sit for one year as per his advice. I couldn't upload the pic for some reason but it was about mid 50's diameter and 7" long. It was a very tasty cigar and I wish I had a couple more.

Perfect 80 degrees out with blue skies. Thoroughly enjoying this RP with coffee. Have a great day gentlemen.

Probably one of the nuttiest cigars ive bad (in a good way). Goes well with coffee. I heard this is the last year habanos will make these. After 2017 they'll stop making them :/
    Well that blows.....

Just Bolivar or all the other brands as well?

I've been smoking Añejo 48s lately, great cigars!

Once again, I apologize for the lack of pictures....

WOW this natural is great. Hopefully get the Maduro in tomorrow. A bit steep on the price but glad the local B&M got them in.
