Last night was a Cuesta Rey Stanford's Cameroon Reserve. Amazing smoke...especially for the price.

Had a Flor De A. Allones today, all I have to say is that is was wonderful.
One of the better smokes I have had in sometime.
Very good burn, draw, ash and taste.
According to JR cigars, it's one of the best "sleeper" cigars on the market.
Very good cigar, and I'll be buying some more in the future.

It was sunny and 70* here yesterday, so I sat out on the balcony and enjoyed a year+ old RP Edge missile. If the weather keeps up today, I might have to bust out a bigger stick...either a Perdomo ESV 91 double corona or a Monte media noche torp.

Celebrated finals being done with the following over the last 2 days:

    Hoya de Monterrey Excalibur 1066
    CAO America Potomac
    Rocky Patel 1990 vintage
    Punch Rare Corojo

A great batch of sticks although the Punch was a bit dry and the wrapper frayed on me pretty good.

Anejo 55 from 2002..It was just a bit past it's prime but it still had all the qualities I expect from an Anejo. The arouma was intoxicating.

a Gispert maduro box pressed. (robusto?). it was ok but thats not the important part.

I was sitting on the step outside my garage with my arms resting on my knees and all of a sudden a small bird flew up and perched itself on my left arm. It stayed there for about 5 seconds; chirped at me and flew up into the tree in my backyard. Really an awesome little moment.

Had a fonseca vintage tonight and it was freaking awesome. Okay, maybe not freaking awesome. The freaking awesome probably came from multiple drinks A little mild, so it was an easy nub.

    12/24/2007:

Enjoyed some coffee and a CAO Mx2 heading out for the Christmas Eve celebration. WOW, I definitely prefer the Mx2 over the Cx2.
