It's OK, for me it's a medium strength cigar, good amount of smoke. I haven't gotten to the point of being able to distinguish much in the way of flavors except for leather and cedar. This one is a maduro wrapper and has a good finish.

I had this one sitting out by a reservoir in the sunshine, first nice motorcycle ride of the year

It's a good cigar for the money $2-3 per cigar.

Had my first 5 Vegas Gold yesterday. A really good smoke for the price, probably pick up a few soon.

RASCC on the way to work.

A couple of JLP Cremas during the day.

Just heading out now to a mates place and will smoke a Monte #2 on the way.

And once there will spark up a RASS.

    a reasonably smoky day.

  10. Default Trinidad Coloniales

Got a box of Trinidad Coloniales the other day and decided to try one. The box is from July 07. The cigar was smooth, but very little taste. Do you guys find that a newborn cigar like this generally to be bland until it gets some age, and when do they start showing some flavor?

I just finished a Juan Lopez Selec no. 2 from 2005 that a FOG here sent to me in a trade a year or so back.

My, what a complex and spectacular cigar!

I was indulgent today... had an Oliva Special G (from Deebuya), a Oliva Don Barreto (not so great, but much better after 2 months in the humidor), and the last half of an Indian Tabac Nonpareil my lovely wife declined to finish.

Oliva Serie V Lancero & a Savinelli 1876 something. I don't know much about it. I do know that it is a really solid smoke and would recommend it.
