Partagas Short, as always the reliable half hour of pleasant smoke
I thought it was a tampon joke!
Since I've been away from the forums a bit, I'll do a round-up of the the more memorable cigars of the past week.
- Cusana Habano LXI.................I really enjoyed this one......great flavors, good strength, excellent construction.......just really hit the spot.
- La Aroma De Cuba Robusto......had some draw issues.....always a bummer
- Tat Havana VI Almirantes....
- Flor De Oliva Maduro Torp.........great bargain! Gonna add these to the rotation of daily smokes
- Don Tomas Sun Grown Presidente......nice...well-rounded taste. Might be worth trying if you haven't already.
Opus X Reserva D'Chateau.
My favorite Opus X.![]()

As I can't say this elsewhere (although one never knows) Welcome back!
This weekend was try-a-stick-that-hopefully-has-become-better-after-a-few-months. The first two were from a short addiction to cBid last winter, and the last was a CI superstore pickup that a BOTL this past spring.
Oliva O Mad Torp - no change
Carlos Toraño Virtuoso Encore - no change
Perdomo ESV '91 Mad Torp - improved a lot from the summer, but more time will hopefully make it better.
All three were not impressive to me at time of purchase. All three will go back to sleep until after Christmas.

Had a El Rey Del Mundo Olvidados Chateau X last night. As intimidating as this cigar looked, it was pretty smooth all the way through..............almost on the mild side.
Also recently had a Hoyo De Tradicion Toro. It was a flavorful cigar but the draw was a little tight. Oh well.
Garycliff Espresso Pirate (torpedo). Its been a while since my last Graycliff - Wow, I forgot how good these are. Too many cigars........not enough time.
Taboo African Cameroon.

Last night the new Macanudo 1968 got free at a promotional event. Not a terrible smoke but I would never pay the 9-10 price they are asking I may buy another if they were $3
