Avo Signature double corona courtesy of a BOTL here. My first Avo - me like. I checked the prices of these - me no like.

    I've got $10+/cigar tastes, and a $2/cigar budget .

I opted for the DE Natural ~ Irish Hopps tonight (let bashing begin...)

They're not that bad. I don't really like the sugary tip, or the wierd backwoodsesque aftertaste, but its constructed well, burns evenly, and puffs out a good amount of vanilla flavored smoke.

Smoked a CX2 Robusto - Always a tasty smoke. Tight draw but I guess I'll have to deal

    &

Coronado Churchill - I like this smoke for a medium body/flavored smoke. Always fulfilling

Just finishing a gifted Partagas Short (the cigar- not Chef Chris' old Halloween costume). This is a perfect winter cigar that hits the spot every time.

I might break out an Anejo Shark later if the Cardinals win.

Smoked a Fonseca Cedar #4, one of the better Fonsecas I have tried. Also smoked a Fonseca Cubano Limitado, probably my favorite Fonseca.

Had a Gurka double maduro tonight (to try to redeem myself from last night....)

Great smoke. Smooth, tasty & good to the last drop. Only complaint would be the friggin wrapper always starts to fall apart at the end.

Smoked a Perdomo ESV 91 today. My buddy at IU has a 2 bedroom apartment to himself so he made the spare bedroom his bike storage/ smoking room. I wish i was that lucky.
Edit: currently smoking a Sol Cubano Maduro which i think came in my newbie sampler.

Had a Nub Cameroon 460 the other night - unfortunately had to rush it to beat a weather system coming in (Curse the smoking ban!). Not bad - but I think I prefer the Nub Connecticut

Went to Atlantic City over the holiday weekend.

    1/17/2009:
Oliva MB3 Dbl Rob - Amazing cigar! So flavorful and aromatic. I smoked this after breakfast btw.......so a good Medium Smoke.

RP Connecticut Churchill - I was actually amazed by this smoke. I bought a box back in March 2007 and it has been resting since. There was a reason why I bought a box.....this was insanely tastey. I probably have 4-6 sticks left, but kinda grew tired of RP once my pallate started enjoying more Med-Full bodied cigars. I'm glad I was able to revisit this cigar after almost 3 years. I have to admit, the new RPs that have come out since, I have not been impressed with.

    1/18/2009:
RyJ Regalias de Londres - Lovely mild-med smoke. Nice aroma and suttle flavors.

    It was a great weekend!

Just smoked a Cubano Viso Fuerte - Nice little smoke. Tasty but kept on going out a lot... sort of a problem with the smaller sized cigars... this one could have been considered a cigarillo in my books.

Currently smoking a Trinidad Belicoso I got in my newbie sampler several months ago. Pretty good so far, almost the perfect level of flavor, just a tad on the mild end. Complemented by a glass of Woodford Reserve on the rocks.

    Smoked

Cohiba XV550... Great taste but I had to toss it after 15 minutes since the draw was so horrible. I thought it might open up after smoking it for a while but I was fatigued after trying too hard to get some smoke out of it

RyJ Seven - Awesome cigar, great flavor... more on the medium side. Had some burn issues but drew great. I will let these age more and get an even humidity throughout them.

Victor Sinclair Corojo - Great taste, held me over for a bit. Pretty one-dimensional smoke

Camacho Madure Petit - Awesome cigar... best one I smoked today. Sweet maduro wrapper with plenty of smoke. Love them Camachos

Damn, Rich! You've been smoking up a storm lately. Wish we had CA weather here, so I can smoke as much as you.

IF I'm ever in the area, we gonna have to link up and smoke a couple!
