Anejo 55 from '08, with some Havana Club 7 cut with water.

Mould has been discovered on the '08 Anejo's - sure enough, I checked the one that had been gifted to me by a family member, and there were a few white splotches under the cedar. Check yours!

    Ramone Allones (SP?)
Pretty good. I almost detected, like, a mentol tast to it. Maybe that was just me.
I'm drinkin' vodka & cranberry tonight, as the beer is gone

Smoked a Savinelli Special Selection 05 Torpedo and it was delicious. Very sweet cigar with hints of caramel and coffee (so says Cigar Aficionado). Burnt perfectly but the tip was tight so I cut a little more than normal off. Builds up in flavor and definitely builds towards that nicaraguan tobacco taste

Met up with Andrew at his B&M, I had a CAO Brazilia Box Press. Enjoyable smoke, got a bit harsh towards the very end.

Met up with Nate at OVTC in Dulles yesterday.

Smoked a Monti White Label Torpedo. I have to admit, I was impressed with this cigar. This was the JR free stick 2 years ago......I just decided to smoke it last night.

Made it almost to 50 degrees today so I made it out long enough to smoke a Tatuaje Havana VI angeles(?) graciously gifted to me by Logan37. Many thanks for a very fine smoke.

Smoked an Oliva G Figurado on my patio with the rain pouring down. It was a good cheap smoke and had some great flavors going. Oliva never fails to impress me

Went to a cigar tasting last night at the local martini bar and smoked 5 La Aurora conniseuer series. Each one had a different wrapper. It was pretty cool to taste the effect that different wrappers have on the same filler and binder. The cigars were good but the draw was inconsistent. The Cameroon wrapper took a ton of elbow grease to smoke, whereas the conneticut was completely effortless. The five wrappers were Corojo, Brazil, Ecuadorian Sumatra, Conneticut, and Cameroon.

Took more advantage of the unseasonably warm weather and smoked an Oliva Serie G Robusto paired with a bourbon whiskey sour.

Gran Habano 3 Siglos Fuma - widely criticized when they first came out as a massive cbid auction a year ago. However, the cigar continue to improve, and now more than justifies its $1.30US price. .
